The 5 Ways
At Explore Learning, there are 5 ways we ensure children make academic progress whilst developing a love of learning.
Professional Tutors
All our tutors are DBS checked, employed and trained by us. They are experts in explaining tricky concepts and instilling positive learning habits.
Smart Learning
Our smart digital tool knows what your child needs to see next. We'll present them with the right topic and question at the right time ensuring they are learning at a pace that works for them.
Unbeatable Support
We know that navigating your child's education can be overwhelming. That's why we're always on hand to listen and support by providing feedback on progress, making recommendations, and tailoring your membership to you.
Dreaming Bigger
Yes, we'll help your child to pass the test. But we're here to do more than that. We know they can go further and develop the skills and confidence it takes to become a fearless learner.
Unlocking Joy
By encouraging curiosity, aspiration and resilience in the face of mistakes, we help children to unlock the joy of learning. We celebrate every achievement and the effort in getting there.
"Now my confidence is 10/10!"
Saniyah started Explore Learning as a very shy child. Over time, her tutors have really helped bring out her confidence, and she's managed to build fantastic relationships and make lots of friends.

"Before Explore, I didn't know how to help my son with work at home."
Jina enrolled both her sons with Explore Learning after discovering her eldest was struggling with his phonics. As English isn't her first language, she was looking for expert support to help build her son's skills and confidence.
Overall I rate the experience the children and I have had at Explore very highly. They have come on leaps and bounds, and feel so much more knowledgeable and competent in their studies. It has been a great asset to the children’s learning, and we are grateful as a family to be a part of Explore Learning.

We started in lockdown when my daughter wasn’t getting any education in school, just childcare as we are both NHS workers. She has gone from below average at 7 years old to well above average in English and maths at age 9 and we keep it now as she just doesn’t get stretched enough in class and she enjoys the lessons so much. I also love the way their program tracks your child’s progress and rewards them. Thank you Explore!

My son has been learning with Explore Learning for more than 3 years, he is very happy in every session with his tutor, he has learnt a lot of English and maths skills which could support his learning at school and can see he has made significant progress, he is more confident and enthusiastic with his learning.

FAQs
Is Explore Learning effective?
Efficacy is important to us at Explore Learning. Ongoing research by our data scientists shows that children make the equivalent of 19 months academic progress in a year based on students doing 1 hour of tutored or independent learning per subject per week. They also develop confidence and learning habits that have positive effects on their attitudes towards learning as a whole.
Is all your work on computers?
Our curriculum is delivered digitally. Think of it as an amazing adaptive text book providing the activities your child needs to know with instant feedback. Children will also use traditional resources such as whiteboards and notebooks for working out, pens and pencils for handwriting etc.
Are your tutors teachers?
We pride ourselves on having professional tutors who are employed and trained by us. They are experts in coaching, this is a different skill set to being a qualified teacher. Our smart learning tool ensures that no lesson planning or marking is required allowing our tutors to focus on explaining tricky concepts whilst keeping children motivated and on track with their learning.
How long will it take to see progress?
Most parents notice a change in their child's confidence and enjoyment of learning within the first few weeks of attending Explore Learning. Academic progress then follows in month 2-3. On average children master 1-2 new maths and English skills in each tuition session so their new found knowledge quickly grows. We share all this information with you online so you can see your child's progress and celebrate it together.
Should I have 1 or 2 tuition sessions a week?
Children make more progress the more frequently they learn with us so 2 sessions a week is highly recommended. However, for some children this may feel too much or tricky to fit into a busy schedule. In this case 1 tutored session might be the best fit. The option is available for families to select the frequency that best meets their needs.
