Key Stage 2 Maths and English Tuition
Key Stage 2 is the bridge between KS1 and KS3. It's taught in Years 3-6, when children are between 7 and 11 years-old. During this time, maths and English tuition can play a crucial role in mastering core academic skills and a KS2 tutor can greatly enhance a child's confidence.

What happens in KS2?
Key Stage 2 covers years 3, 4, 5 and 6 of primary school. These years are all about your child mastering core maths and English skills. They are learning more independence socially and academically. They are starting to think for themselves, take on more responsibility and figuring out what really interests them.
There’s a strong emphasis on mental maths including the Year 4 Multiplication Tables Check (MTC) and focus on English reading and writing in readiness for the SATs and move to secondary school.
