What is Lincolnshire Consortium of Grammar Schools?
There are 15 selective grammar schools in the Lincolnshire Consortium of Grammar Schools. All schools in the consortium use the same test, which means that children applying to any of these schools only need to take the 11 plus test once. Caistor Grammar School is not part of the Lincolnshire Consortium of Grammar Schools, and has a separate entrance test.

How to register for a place in the Lincolnshire Consortium of Grammar Schools?
Some of the schools within the Lincolnshire Consortium of Grammar Schools are selective academies that are responsible for their own admissions. To apply for these schools, you will need to fill in a registration form via the school's website. Other schools in the consortium follow the local authority admissions process.
You also need to complete the Common Application form and submit this to the local authority. You can find out more information about the application process through the council's website.
If you live outside of Lincolnshire, or in a non-selective area of the county, you must contact your own local authority and notify them that you wish to apply to a school within the consortium.

The Lincolnshire Consortium of Grammar Schools assessment
The 11 plus exam for the Lincolnshire Consortium of Grammar Schools is provided by the GL exam board and will cover:
The exam is completed over two multiple choice papers. There is a Verbal Reasoning paper, which takes 50 minutes, and a Non-Verbal Reasoning paper with five timed sections, which takes 40 minutes.
